Sedalia Police Apprehend Two Murder Suspects

Late Tuesday night, around 11:13, in the 700 block of East 9th Street, Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check on a subject out of Pettis County. Arrested at the scene was 21-year-old Kenneth McGee Jr. on an outstanding warrant for 2nd degree murder, armed criminal action, and robbery in the 1st degree related to the death of Andrew Meyer.

McGee Jr. is being held in the Pettis County Jail on a $100,000.00 bond. In addition to the arrest of McGee, Sedalia Police also arrested Brian Young earlier today for murder in the 2nd degree, related to the death of Andrew Meyer. Meyer was murdered in July 2015. Brian Young is also being held in the Pettis County Jail.
