If you're looking for a Halloween-themed weekend activity great for the whole family head to Downtown Warrensburg this Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Warrensburg Main Street's Halloween event is set to take place on the courthouse lawn, followed by a movie marathon at Warrensburg's historic Star Theater on Pine Street.

First is the children's costume contest taking place on the courthouse lawn at 10:00 AM CDT. Judges will be looking for the cutest, spookiest, most creative, and best overall costume in the following age groups: 0-3, 4-7, 8-12, 13+. Additionally, there will be a costume contest for pets which will be judged at the same time. The winners of the best overall costumes will compete to be the winner of the 2023 Downtown Spooktacular and win a cash prize.

After the costume contest on the courthouse lawn, the festivities will move to the Historic Star Theater at 112 W Pine Street. Warrensburg Main Street encourages those coming out to the Star Theater for the movie marathon to bring their own lawn chairs.
