Marijuana Discovered After Police Respond to Call

Sedalia Police were called to the area of Broadway and Limit on Wednesday in reference to an unconscious person sitting in a vehicle at the stop light.

According to police, the driver appeared to just be asleep. Police say the odor of marijuana was coming from inside the vehicle. The driver and vehicle were searched, and a small amount of marijuana was reportedly discovered.

42-year-old James Carter II was issued a municipal court summons with a court date of November 9.
