Juvenile Arrested on Weapons Charge After Disturbance in Centennial Park

Sedalia Police were dispatched to Centennial Park at 11:53 p.m. on May 30 for a report of a large disturbance with weapons.

Police say contact was made with a large number of people involved in the disturbance. One juvenile was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and peace disturbance.

According to police, the juvenile was later released to his parents and charges are being referred to the Juvenile Office.
