Johnson County Accident Seriously Injures Three People
A three-vehicle accident in Johnson County around noon on August 9 led to serious injuries for three people.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2014 Dodge overtook and struck a 2011 Chevrolet in the rear. The Chevrolet reportedly crossed the center of the roadway on Route DD and came into the path of a 2002 Dodge.
25-year-old Derrick Jones of Warrensburg, 23-year-old Reese King of Lee's Summit, and 29-year-old Rachelle Roman of Warrensburg all suffered serious injuries. Roman was taken by Life Flight to St. Luke's Hospital.
The three vehicles suffered moderate to extensive damage. All had to be towed from the scene.
