How Would Your Child Cook A Turkey?

Everyone has their own way of cooking a turkey.  In the oven, grill, smoker or fryer.  Some use cooking bags while others baste it throughout the process.  No matter how you prepare the main dish for the holiday table, we all look forward to our favorite parts.

One of the more fun things to do during Thanksgiving is to ask your child, 5-years-old and under, how they would cook the turkey.  Make them take you from step one through serving.  Ask them what color the turkey should be when it is done, how to tell when it is done, how long it needs to cook.  You know, the works.  You'll be amazed at their answers.
