Recently, Todd Atkins drew controversy nationwide when he said in a television interview that it is “really rare” that victims of “legitimate rape” get pregnant.
The Republican National Convention is in for a real treat this year. On August 26, politicians will step off their platforms to give Rodney Atkins the stage. The singer will headline the RNC welcoming party, which will take place at Tropicana Stadium in St. Petersburg, Fla.
August 7, 2012 Kids, as you may or may not remember, today is a big day in terms of our Political Year. Everywhere you look, you see tons and tons of signage for different candidates. On the radio, you hear ad after ad for different campaigns. On the TV, you see back-to-back ads that are sometimes informative, but often just hateful.
Today (August 7) is the primary election across the state. The election polls are open until 7 p.m. We hope you will go out and make an informed decision on your candidates.
