The Celebrity Apprentice just wrapped up week six of the program, and that means six celebrities have been ousted. Bret Michaels, Dee Snider, La Toya Jackson, Claudia Jordan, Omarosa and Dennis Rodman have been fired by Donald Trump.
There are a lot of different things going on this weekend!
Registration for the Go Big of Go Home 5K race in remembrance of Blaine Whitworth begins at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, at 115 N. Holden St. in Warrensburg.
The race welcomes serious runners, beginners, joggers and walkers to the family fun race. All proceeds will go to the Blaine Whitworth Go Big or Go Home fund. The fund was set up in Whitworth's name after he died in a shooting last fall.
Kids, as we all know, parenting can be hard. And if you're new to it, there are so many more safety features and gadgets and whathasits than we had when I was a kid. Heck, I remember my Mother having to tell me to sit down in the car and not stand on the seat. So we could all use a little guidance when it comes to kid safety.
Kids, around this time of year a lot of groups are gearing up for the big Relay for Life Fundraiser. It's a great cause, and I'm sure all of us in some way or another have been touched by cancer.
Here are some of the goings on happening this weekend!
Kids, as you probably know, I'm a fan of animals. Well, I wouldn't ask them for their autograph or anything, since they don't speak English and lack the ability to write, but I do enjoy them quite a bit.
Any kind of show on Netflix or whatever about animals, it's bound to be watched at some point by me. Funny animals, animal documentaries, animal training shows, you name it. So I like to take some time out of my life to help out an animal when I can. That's why I've always adopted my pets from the Animal Shelter. I would hope you would do that, too! Well, AnimalFAIR is a group that runs a no-kill shelter here in our area. They're doing a fundraiser that seems like a lot of fun, that I wanted to tell you about.

Kids, if there's anything I've noticed about Sedalia, it's that people here care about their neighbors. And sometimes it can be something manifested in small ways - like helping shovel their walk, or checking on a neighbor, or donating to a local charity.
Well now, we've got another way that you can help and it doesn't cost anything but your time. If you’re interested in meeting new people and giving back to the community, Bothwell Regional Health Center has a place for you. Volunteer opportunities are open with the American Red Cross and the Bothwell Auxiliary.
