We're already a bit uncertain what to make of FOX's 'Gotham,' retelling the story of the caped crusader and his greatest villains from a young Jim Gordon's perspective, particularly as the pilot alone incorporates many of Batman's famous foes. Now, atop the Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and more, we've learned that Mr. Freeze himself might be up for the 'Gotham' treatment sooner rather than later.

We're just over a month away from the release of 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' the highly-anticipated intergalactic superhero film from Marvel, but there's already talk of possible sequels from Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. The executive also has some hints about 'Ant-Man,' which recently picked up director Peyton Reed and writer Adam McKay.

Nathan Fillion, who has appeared in director James Gunn's previous films 'Slither' and 'Super,' as well as one of the director's 'PG Porn' shorts, will indeed be making an appearance in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' -- though in a much smaller capacity than you might have assumed.

‘Batman’ was a big enough moment in popular culture that, at one time, a perfectly reasonable sophomore in high school wanted to permanently attach a logo from a movie onto his only mode of transportation. As Marvel has set 'Deliver Us From Evil' helmer Scott Derrickson as the director of 'Doctor Strange,' they're now figuring out who will write the script that will be used when shooting commences. The leading candidate is 'Prometheus' screenwriter Jon Spaihts.

Jason Momoa is tight-lipped. Sure, the former 'Game of Thrones' and future 'Batman v Superman' star is happy to be on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' to chat it up with professed big fan Jimmy Kimmel, but he's not going to let anything slip about the worst kept secret in Hollywood right now -- that he's playing Aquaman in the next major DC comic book movie. Admittedly, though, he sure looks nervous about it.

Summer reading is in full swing at the Boonslick Regional Library.  Keeping our kids reading every summer is a hugely important part of their schooling.  After all, if kids don't keep reading, they might fall behind when the school year arrives.
