The Bothwell Regional Health Center Board of Trustees welcomed Connie McLaughlin as a new member after the Sedalia City Council approved her appointment at its June 5th meeting.

"Connie’s appointment to the Bothwell board is a testament to her exceptional dedication and expertise," said Mayor Andrew Dawson. "With her deep roots in our community and extensive background, Connie brings invaluable insights to the table. Her unwavering belief in Sedalia and Bothwell fuels her enthusiasm for this role, and I commend her for stepping forward to serve. We are fortunate to have Connie as a valuable asset on the board, and I have no doubt that her contributions will greatly benefit our community."

McLaughlin has been the Contract Manager at the Sedalia License Office for 26 years and has served on numerous boards and committees including the City of Sedalia Planning and Zoning Board for 17 years and the Stewardship and Personal committees at her church.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Bothwell Board of Trustees,” McLaughlin said. “I have genuine pride in our hospital and have always been appreciative of having a city-owned hospital. I am confident that my years of previous experience have taught me to see issues from a different perspective. I look forward to taking on this new responsibility of service to my community.”

McLaughlin will serve a four-year term and is replacing member Cam Jennings, whose term expired in June.

The Bothwell Board of Trustees meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m., in the hospital board room. Members are appointed by the Mayor and reviewed and approved by City Council.
