I have a bachelor of science in broadcasting and film. I wear many hats: I'm a reporter, news writer, news anchor, production voice, disk jockey, and producer. I'm a big music geek, as well as an avid cartoon lover. I have a particular penchant for old movies as well. I'm a very enthusiastic fan of comedy, in almost all forms. I'm a Pisces... um... I have small feet..... I'm often lazy with my capitalization - I know where it's supposed to go, but i really only capitalize in my typing For Emphasis Of Certain Words. I can't think of anything else, bah!<

Mid Missouri Holiday Decorations: The Magic Tree

Kids, this past weekend I was in Columbia, Mo. I know a lot of you are familiar with the general vicinity and have probably been there several times over your tenure. I have been there I don't know how many times, but for some reason I had never heard of a country wide phenomena called The Magic Tree. Apparently since I'm a big humbug who will refuse to put up a tree in my own home, I thought it would be nice to at least spread a little decorative cheer that someone else put up.

Kids, if you're like me, you kind of struggle when it comes to finding gift ideas. I mean, there's only so many times you can give a gift basket of cheeses before it starts to become a joke.

So what do you get for the person who tells you, "Don't buy me anything!" That person who doesn't really NEED anything, and they'd feel bad if you bought them something kind of extravagant or something frivolous? Why not get them a different kind of gift certificate?
