The American Red Cross encourages eligible individuals to support humanitarian efforts by making an appointment to donate lifesaving blood this July.

The need is constant, and all blood types are needed, especially O positive, O negative, B negative and A negative.  I got to talk with our local Red Cross Donor Recruitment Representative, Craig Jackson, about  how you can help the Red Cross save lives here locally.

The next local blood drive will be with The Interstate Studios, who will host a blood drive on Wednesday, July 16.  The American Red Cross will be having the blood drive at the at Interstate from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more than 130 years, the Red Cross has been dedicated to helping people in communities large and small across the U.S. It is the only humanitarian services organization that provides blood services, serves as the emergency communication link between military personnel and their families, offers health and safety training and responds to disasters of all types and sizes. Find out more about the Red Cross on their website.

Donatingly yours,
Behka
