Weekend Activities Happening in Sedalia
Here are just a few of the events happening in Sedalia this weekend.
Sedalia Parks and Rec will host Bark in the Park with local shelters and rescues on Saturday, Aug. 25. Bring your furry best friend and come out to Bark in the Park! This free event will be hosted at Convention Hall from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. There will be a silent auction, informational booths and sessions, animals that are up for adoption, pictures with your pets and MORE! Pets must be leashed.
VFW Post 2591, 121 S. Ohio, will serve an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 12 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25. On the menu will be fish and chicken strips, fried potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw, hush puppies, tea and coffee. Tickets are $10 at the door for adults and $5 for children age 2 - 10.
The Pettis County Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold a bake sale and blood drive Saturday, Aug. 25 at Sears, 3117 W. Broadway. The Bloodmobile will be there from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
