UCM Set To Host First Round of MIAA Tournament
WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The third-seeded Mules Baseball team will host sixth-seeded Nebraska-Kearney in an MIAA Tournament First Round series this Thursday through Saturday at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field. The series is a best-of-three format with the winner advancing to the MIAA Tournament Finals May 7-9 at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Mules and Lopers will play single nine-inning games on Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m. at Crane Stadium. Saturday's "if necessary" game will start at 2 p.m. Tickets for the games will be $5 for all ages, with six and under admitted free of charge. UCM students will get in free of charge with valid ID, compliments of UCM President Dr. Chuck Ambrose.
No passes will be accepted for the postseason tournament. The Crane Stadium Box Office will open one hour prior to first pitch each day.
