UCM Dorms and Food Service Opening Early Because of Storm

In anticipation of the predicted winter storm this weekend, UCM University Housing has announced they will be open for students who want to beat the storm and move in early.

Students who are returning to their current room can check in as early as 8:30AM CST Friday January 10. Students who are new to the hall can check in at the front desk between 8:30AM - 11:30AM CST and 1:00PM - 3:00PM CST. Students who are checking out of their rooms can do so as well. Students are asked to follow instructions on signs that will be posted at the front desk.

UCM Housing is encouraging all students to watch weather forecasts for their travel routes to UCM, and is not encouraging travel on Saturday.

Dinging by Sodexo will also be opening early to accommodate students returning to school early. On Saturday breakfast will be offered from 8:00AM - 9:00AM CST, Lunch from 11:30AM -1:00PM CST and Dinner from 5:30PM -7:00PM CST at Westside Market in Todd Hall. Brunch will be offered Sunday at Westside Market in Todd Hall from 11:30AM - 1:00PM CST. Dinner Sunday night will be offered at both Westside Market and the Ellis Dining Center from 5:00PM -7:00PM CST.  Breakfast will cost $6.00, Lunch/Brunch $7.00, Dinner $8.00. Dining Dollars, cash, credit, debit and meal swipes will be accepted.
