Two Injuries Reported in Lafayette County Wreck

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday evening in Lafayette County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2021 Jeep Gladiator, driven by 28-year-old Samantha Jo Crocker of Warrensburg, was at Missouri 13, at Missouri Business 13 just after 7 p.m., when she pulled into the path of a northbound 2005 Ford Escape, driven by 40-year-old Hilario Hernandez of Waverly.

The front of the Ford struck the driver’s side of the Jeep.

Both Crocker and Hernandez suffered minor injuries. Crocker was transported by Higginsville EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center, while Hernandez refused treatment on scene.

Both vehicles had extensive damage. The Jeep was towed.

Higginsville Police assisted the Patrol.
