Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday in Cole County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2013 Chevy Cruze, driven by 19-year-old Camryn P. Paull of Russellville, was stopped in the roadway on Route C, waiting to turn onto Millbrook Road (east of Russellville) around 5:15 p.m., when an eastbound 2006 Ford Mustang, driven by 50-year-old Angela D. Hamlin-Eaves of Cole Camp, struck the rear of the Chevy. After impact, both vehicles traveled off the left side of the roadway.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals in Jefferson City for treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled.
