On Friday, March 26, at approximately 7 p.m., Sedalia Police attempted contact with a male subject outside of 611 South Missouri Avenue, after recognizing him to have an active arrest warrant.

At the time of contact, the male subject fled into the residence and barricaded himself against the door to prevent officers from making entry to apprehend him.

A short time later, the male subject was observed running from the residence after jumping from a second story window. Officers gave chase and the male subject was taken into custody without incident a short distance away.

A search incident to arrest confirmed the identity of the male as 36-year-old Brandon D. Rollett. Brandon was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, in an amount that would be consistent with him distributing the substance.

Additional evidence to support illegal drug distribution was also located in Brandon’s possession.

The investigation further revealed a female subject with active warrants was also hiding inside the residence. Officers checked the residence and located 29-year-old Jessica J. Henderson hiding in the attic area. Jessica was taken into custody without incident.

Both subjects were transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. Sedalia officers were assisted on scene by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Pettis County Sheriff’s Office.
