Trash Collection in Sedalia Will Be December 26 – 28

The Sedalia Public Works Department’s Sanitation Division will collect trash will begin at 5 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26 and will continue through Saturday, Dec. 28.

All residents (regardless of your pickup day) will need to place their carts out for collection on Thursday, Dec. 26 no later than 5 a.m.

Due to the shortened week, Sanitation crews will be collecting trash from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, the City said.

Once Sanitation crews have removed trash from your area, crews will not return until the following week on your scheduled collection day.

Citizens are asked to break down boxes and compact trash as much as possible inside the carts, but do not overfill the carts.
