Traffic Stop Leads To Chase, Arrest of Two Sedalia Men
Sedalia Police attempted an investigative traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of West Main and South Missouri late Tuesday night, Jan. 25.
However, the vehicle fled and a pursuit began.
The vehicle eventually came to a stop in the 800 block of North Moniteau. The driver was identified and taken into custody.
24-year-old Hakeem Stephon Dickson of Sedalia was wanted on a Pettis County warrant, and was also charged with resisting arrest, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, and possession of marijuana.
There were two other occupants who fled from the vehicle.
The first occupant wrestled with officers on scene before fleeing on foot.
That suspect later turned himself in and was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and had minor injuries from running through a wooded area.
26-year-old Wayne Andrew Gravitt of Sedalia was charged with resisting arrest.
The second occupant was later identified and fleeing the area.
The vehicle was towed by State Fair Towing.
An investigation is ongoing.
