Three Warrensburg residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday evening in Lafayette County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that an eastbound 1985 Holiday Rambler RV driven by 40-year-old Evangelina M. Barber of Independence, began experiencing vehicle defects and started rolling backwards on Missouri 23 at US 24 Highway at 6:45 p.m. Sunday night, striking a westbound 2015 Dodge on its front bumper. The Dodge was driven by 32-year-old Amanda S. Tracy of Warrensburg.

Tracy and two of her passengers, and eighth-year-old male and a three-year-old female, all suffered minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals. Tracy was taken to Centerpoint Hospital by Lexington EMS, while the juveniles were taken to Carroll Memorial Hospital by Carrollton EMS. All were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.

The Rambler had moderate damage and was towed. The Dodge was totaled and towed.

Lafayette County deputies assited the Patrol at the scene.
