On the afternoon of July 8, the Sedalia Police Department's Crime Solution Unit conducted a vehicle stop at South Limit Avenue and West 3rd Street for a vehicle with expired registration.

During the course of the stop, the driver was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Saline County for Failure to Appear on original charges of No Insurance.

Whitney Keith Reynolds, 33, homeless, was arrested without incident.

During an inventory search of the vehicle prior to towing, several items related to drug activity were found along with property believed to be stolen.

Information obtained during the investigation led to a search warrant of a motel room at the American Inn, 1217 South Limit Avenue.

Additional stolen items were recovered, as well as more items related to drug activity.

Two adults were placed under arrest without incident: Wayne Tyler D. Coslet, 28, homeless, and Charity Rachae Dixon, 23, of Sedalia.

Two juveniles in the room were turned over to the care of family. At the conclusion of the vehicle stop and search warrant, three individuals were transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Reynolds was arrested for her Failure to Appear warrant.

Coslet was arrested pending charges of Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Stealing Motor Vehicle Parts, 1st degree Property Damage, and Unlawful Transaction with a Child.

Dixon was arrested pending charges of Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Stealing Motor Vehicle Parts, and Unlawful Transaction with a Child.
