The Smith-Cotton Tigers football ended their 3 game road trip in Kansas City, Friday night, as they took on the St. Pius Warriors. The game got off very slow for the Tigers, as they fumbled the ball twice in the 1st quarter. They were down 14-0 very quickly in the ballgame.

By halftime, the Tigers trailed 28-7. After the 3rd quarter, the Tigers were down 35-7.

The continuous clock ran on the Tigers, and early in the 4th quarter, they were down 42-7.

The Tigers came back with 10 big points, on a 31-yard field goal by Blake Grupe and a 50-yard pass play by Jaden Kendrick to Brice Pannier, in the final part of the game.

The Tigers lost the game 42-17. The Smith-Cotton Tigers are now 4-4 on the season.

The Tigers will play at home on Friday, October 14th, as they host the undefeated Center Yellow Jackets. Kick off will be at 7:00 p.m.
