The Smith-Cotton Tigers got their season off to a solid start in their home jamboree Friday night at Tiger Stadium. S-C was joined by Mexico, Osage and Eldon high schools for the round-robin matchups. The Tigers topped Mexico, 6-0, on a touchdown by senior Ricky Warren. Senior Caleb Reed and sophomore Brice Pannier scored as S-C beat Osage, 12-0. The Tigers then tied with Eldon, 6-6, with senior Noah Aziere providing S-C’s final score of the night. The Tigers open the regular season at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, against Republic in the first regular season game in the new Tiger Stadium.
