I wonder how Patrick Mahomes is feeling about this one?  One of the most popular Kansas City Chiefs players and best offensive weapons is going to the Miami Dolphins.  Here are the details from ESPN's NFL insider Adam Schefter:

Seeing how amazing the Chiefs offense has been, this will come as a big surprise to many.  It appears that he will also be getting a new contract from the Miami Dolphins:

I can only guess with all of the draft picks that will be coming back to Kansas City, that they feel strongly that they can build through the draft and find players to replace him.  Their current WR core:  Free-agent addition JuJu Smith-SchusterMecole HardmanJosh GordonJustin WatsonCornell PowellGehrig Dieter and Corey Coleman.

I am speculating that this is a way for the Chiefs to get younger.  With the exception of 32-year-old tight end Travis Kelce, who signed a four-year extension in 2020, all of the big-money contracts the Chiefs have given out since Brett Veach became the team's general manager have gone to younger players in their mid-20s.

We will miss Hill dancing and celebrating in the end zone at Arrowhead.  He will be very well paid in Miami, and he did help us win a Super Bowl.  I wish him well, and I am glad he will not be in the same division as us.
