Some of country music's biggest hitmakers have cut songs that make fun of the genre they love.

Bentley earned the star in recognition of his Miles & Music for Kids event, which has raised upwards of $4 million for the hospital over the last 10 years.

The song itself is an ode to Bowen's former stomping grounds of Austin. Fellow Texan Lambert is a fitting choice to join in.

The concert lineup continues to fill out for the 2017 Missouri State Fair. So far, we know that Granger Smith, Little Big Town, and Chris Lane are a few of the country stars that will be on the Pepsi Grandstand stage this summer, and the Missouri State Fair has also just announced Red Dirt Country Night on August 18, featuring Casey Donahew, Wade Bowen and Mo Pitney.

Wade Bowen isn't letting life get him down. With "When I Woke Up Today," he's taking the good with the bad and enjoying the adventure of life. And with a song this upbeat and catchy, we can't help but enjoy it with him.

Wade Bowen is set to release his seventh studio album, a followup to 2012's 'The Given.'

I had the opportunity to go backstage to meet Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers at the Missouri State Fair.  Everyone was great.  Both bands took the time to talk to their fans during their meet and greets.  Then I went on stage for some announcements and was able to upgrade some people from the grandstand to the track.  Check out pics of the concert below.
