This holiday season is full of merriment and joy for our little ones, and sometimes we just want them to enjoy some time thinking about their Christmas dreams. You know that means that they've got to have some Santa time, right? So, where will Santa be visiting around town?
As you guys probably know, I have a big ol' weakness for the cute little animals of the world. Dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, whatever, I probably love it. So I'm always a person who wants to help the animals out there that are in need of homes. You can help, too!
A lot of great stuff seems to be going on with our Sedalia Parks Department, and this weekend, they're working with the Sedalia Kennel Club. Their creative minds always seem to find something new and fun to do, not just for the kids, but for the whole family! That's truly evidenced by this weekend's event for Bark in the Park!
We hope you enjoy our brand new weekly feature, Pet of the Week! Each week, we'll introduce you to a pet from the Sedalia Animal Shelter that is currently up for adoption. If you are interested in adopting the animal, you can contact the Sedalia Animal Shelter at 660-826-5816 and provide a pet with a new home.
Kids, as we all know, I am a sucker for animals. Just last week, the boyfriend and I nearly walked away with a dog after an adoption event. But rest assured, we walked away without the dog, and only because it's not feasible NOW to get one. We will have a dog when we're not living in a one bedroom apartment.
Kids, as you probably remember, I was one of the people who lived in the Mark Twain apartments here in Sedalia. And now, as of tomorrow, I think I can finally come to an ending on this situation.
