Project Graduation

The parents of Smith-Cotton’s Class of 2017 are raising funds for this year’s Project Graduation by hosting the traditional chicken dinner.

The Smith-Cotton Project Graduation Fundraiser in Sedalia is a huge undertaking, and seems to get bigger and bigger every year.  Everyone in our area is interested in keeping families intact and healthy.  Nobody wants to have another tragic statistic added to the rolls, ruining what should be a proud celebration.

A while back I told you about some fundraisers going down for the various Project Graduations in our area. Well, now I'm telling you about one of those up close and personal, and that's Crest Ridge's huge tournament.

Every year, there's a new batch of kids who make their way through their graduating year. And every year, the parents, friends and family all those students have a small, nagging worry in the back of their minds about their graduate's safety when it comes to their celebrations. Most of us at one point have heard of different ideas for kids who are graduating high school.  They want to celebrate, and they need a place and time to do it.  Well, not always do the young make great decisions at the spur of the moment.  So we all want to keep them safe and healthy.  That's where this Project Graduation comes in.
