Memorial

Well, we've managed to lose another Sedalia treasure this week.

Friends and fans of country singer Ray Price are invited to a memorial to honor the legend this weekend.

This week, Concordia is hosting their Concordia Fall Festival and welcoming the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall to the Concordia baseball fields on the south side of Concordia, just off Highway 23.

With summer comes a lot of great outdoor events.  One event that's been in our area for a few years now is the Firefighter Memorial Bike Ride.  It's a great time for the whole area to come together and show our appreciation.

Clouds gathered above the Aurora cinema after Sunday night’s vigil for the victims in the tragic ‘Dark Knight Rises‘ shooting, believed to be shaped like an angel. Crystal Fuller snapped a photo of clouds and wrote on Facebook: “I took this picture last night after I left the vigil…Looks like an Angel in the clouds above Century 16. Touching!”
