Liberty Center

Something big is coming to the Liberty Center.  This October they're going to be presenting the Great American Trailer Park Musical.  Fred Norman, the director of the show, came in to talk to us about getting YOU to audition!

The Great American Trailer Park Musical will kick off the 2013 season at the Liberty Center Association for the Arts. Auditions for the show will be July 29 and 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Center located at 111 West 5th Street in Sedalia. Cast will be adult men and women ages 18-55.

Something's coming to the Liberty Center this week, and it's going to be a lot of fun. I got to speak with Carl this morning about a great new show coming for children.

Kids,  when I was a youngin, I did some stuff with the Liberty Center.  At Smith-Cotton, sometimes you'd do something in art or music or whichever, and your paths would cross with the Liberty Center Association.

Pledge 4 Patriots is bringing The Amazing Kreskin to the Liberty Center in Sedalia this Saturday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m.  This show on Saturday will not only help first responders, but proceeds from the show will be used to help pay for the relocation of and treatment for 4-year-old Lucas Luhrs of Sedalia, who was diagnosed with leukemia.

On Saturday we'll welcome the LoCash Cowboys to Sedalia.  Of course, we suggest buying your tickets in advance for this special acoustic show. With the Locash Cowboys coming to Sedalia on Dec. 15, Chris took some time out to talk with me about the show.  As we spoke, he covered some of what the band has done in the past year and revealed what 2013 has in store for them.

LoCash Cowboys will be returning to Sedalia for an acoustic "storytellers" concert on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Liberty Center in Sedalia. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
