Ice Cream

Every day here on our stations, I'm thinking about different ways to interact with you.  I know this whole radio thing isn't just me out there talking to myself.  So it's very important to me that I get your input on stuff!  That's what the weekly Enquiring Minds surveys are all about, picking your brain and seeing what you think about stuff.

Eating ice cream is enjoyable.  Want to make it more fun? How about licking ice cream that changes colors?

Ben & Jerry's has proven once again it is the king of ice cream, this time by introducing four new flavors each with a sweet gooey core.

If you run the risk of eating so much of the main course that you can’t entertain the thought of enjoying dessert this Thanksgiving, then have we got some big news for you.

On Saturday (Aug. 24), saw and heard something that I haven't seen or heard in a long time: the sound of an ice cream truck coming into the neighborhood. It reminded me of my youth, living in Germany, where after school I would keep my allowance and spend it on ice cream or candy...

As you may or may not know, I love ice cream. A lot. I eat it constantly. Well at the Missouri State Fair, I kicked it up a notch, and ate ALL the ice cream there in one day.

We all scream for ice scream, but some of us may scream louder than others.

Folks, ice cream socials are a great way to get people together for the summer.  The Bothwell Auxillary hosts one every year, and several churches also put events together.  In fact, it's just as common as Vacation Bible Schools!  So I thought I'd tell you about a couple of new ones that are coming up soon, so you can get your sweet tooth ready.

Do you feed your pet the occasional scoop of Rocky Road?

Kids,  I know we're all easily charmed by the big, shiny, and brightly colored food booths all along the fairgrounds.  Heck, it's easy when you're surrounded by cheap,  convenient fare.  But, if you'll bear with me, we can get something very very tasty.
