The Sedalia Business Women’s 44th annual Chicken Dinner will be held Sunday, Oct. 20 from 11 a.m., to 2 p.m., at the Shrine Multipurpose Building.

A benefit for the Savannah Hutchinson family will be held Oct. 27 at the Sedalia Moose Lodge, 119 Winchester Drive.

Green Ridge R-8 High School and the Green Ridge Recreation Organization will host Donkey Basketball on Friday.

American Legion Post 491 at Green Ridge will serve biscuits & gravy Oct. 12.

On the menu will be sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy & OJ

The 5th Street Improv will perform at the Hayden Liberty Center, 111 W, 5th Street, on Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Cost is $12 and includes a gourmet spud with our choice of toppings, served with a homemade brownie.

Green Ridge Presbyterian Church will hold an ice cream social from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25.

Georgetown United Methodist Church will hold a garage sale Saturday, Aug. 24.

The Hughesville Fire Department will hold their annual donation fish fry Saturday, Aug. 31.
