Voters approved a five-year extension of a county-wide sales tax to improve and maintain Pettis County roads.

Pettis County residents had a chance to cast their ballots Tuesday for the Primary election. The County reported a 24.03% voter turnout.

The results are in from the special election.  5.73% of registered voters in Pettis County went to the polls and voted Yes/Yes.   The Sedalia Sales Tax won with 523 votes in favor, 215 against with a percentage of 70.87% to 29.13% ...

Pettis County has a special election today that deals with two tax issues. The polls opened at 6 a.m and remain open until 7 p.m. You will be able to see results here, tonight after 7.
