The Women’s Service League of Sedalia is planning its 25th Annual Cupid’s Ball for Saturday, March 2.

The 20th annual Cupid's Ball will be at Smith-Cotton High School in February. Tickets go on sale January 5.

This time of year, a lot of little children's minds are steeped in fantasy.  One way to let the little ones continue their dreaming this holiday season is to get them their tickets to the annual Cupid's Ball.

I'm sure you guys remember all the very rude weather we had a while back. As a result of that, a lot of great events got cancelled because it just wasn't safe to ask people to get out. The 17th Annual Cupid's Ball was one of those events, and Sedalia heard the horrible sound of so many little hearts breaking at once. Well now the event is back on, scheduled for Saturday, March 29!

Well, through all this crazy weather, there's been a lot of cancellations.  And with that, came a lot of disappointment all throughout our area.  Well, we have some great news! The Women’s Service League of Sedalia has rescheduled the 17th Annual Cupid’s Ball, Journey to Oz , for Saturday, March 29, 2014.

The Women's Service League's Cupid's Ball is something that parents and kids look forward to all year.  It's a big event where fathers, grandfathers, uncles, stepfathers, and big brothers have the honor of taking the little girls in their lives to a big night out of dancing and finery.  Well, because of the weather, this year's event was cancelled.  But, that may not be the end of the story.
