When the SNL writers decided to craft a sketch mocking the boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, they had no idea that the “fight of the century” would turn out to be a huge bust that would leave sports fans enraged. This adds a level of meta-humor to an already funny sketch. In many ways, SNL’s very silly take on this fight is significantly more interesting than the real thing.

Floyd Mayweather relied on his defense to slip punches and beat Manny Pacquiao in 12 rounds via unanimous decision in their much-anticipated boxing match at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas late Saturday night.

Tonight (May 2), one of the biggest boxing matches in recent history will take place. The fight is between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. I'm not a huge boxing fan, but hey I did play 'Mike Tyson's Punchout' a lot and bought a George Foreman Grill, watched Rocky a lot, but even I'm curious who will win this fight...
