Even though the calendar let's us know it's Fall, summer-like storms are back in the forecast for the weekend.

Sub-severe storms are possible Friday morning, mainly across northern Missouri. Severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening along and behind a cold front. Main hazards include the potential for strong wind gusts and large hail. Isolated flash flooding concerns will increase by Saturday morning.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 65. South southwest wind 7 to 14 mph becoming northeast after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. East northeast wind around 8 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. East wind 5 to 7 mph becoming south after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
