Check out the Gateway Arch, attend a Cardinals games, get Six Flags tickets, visit the Science Center, Zoo, or Art Museum at Forest Park. There's plenty of things to do in the summertime in St. Louis.
Not too far away. In fact, KC is an easy day trip if you just want to get out of town for a short while. Kansas City has some great concerts coming up this summer, too. Like Kenny Chesney at Arrowhead Stadium. You can also cool down at Schlitterbahn or Oceans of Fun.
Nothing says "summer" like hanging out at the lake! From being out on the water, to camping, and golf, the Lake of the Ozarks offers quite a bit of entertainment. Probably more than you would at first think. Of course, there's that popular outlet mall, too.
It seems like there's always something new to do in Branson. Obviously there are plenty of shows to see, but there are many, many more things to do in Branson. Silver Dollar City, Ripley's Believe it or Not, ziplining and fishing are all popular things to do for Branson visitors.
Hermann is a little tiny town, with a whole bunch of wineries! In fact, there are seven of them on the official Hermann Wine Trail, which has a popular Berries and BBQ event each July. Wine paired with BBQ in one of the most picturesque little towns in the state. But be warned. The Berries and BBQ Wine Trail is the last weekend of July. It's usually hot!
