SPD Investigating Gunshot Incident Involving Teenage Juveniles

Officers responded to the 2400 block of W. 3rd Street in reference to a gunshot victim Friday morning.

The investigation revealed that the incident involved teenage juveniles. All parties involved have been identified and are cooperating with the investigation. The injured juvenile was transported to a regional hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.

An investigation is ongoing, the Criminal Investigations Bureau is working with the Pettis County Juvenile Office to determine any potential juvenile-related offenses.
