Sedalia Police arrested 38-year-old Angie L. Wirtz of Smithton after officers were called to Bothwell Regional Health Center, 601 E. 14th on a stolen vehicle on Wednesday evening.

According to a report, a BRHC employee said that when she went on break at 5:30 p.m. her vehicle was no longer parked where she left it. She later discovered her jacket containing her car keys, was also stolen.

Security video from the hospital showed the suspect leaving the area in the victim's vehicle at around 5:31 p.m. The vehicle was later located and the suspect arrested at 10:34 p.m.

Wirtz was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the formal filing of charges.

Wirtz was previously arrested Feb. 9 of 2017 on a trespassing charge at Hotel Bothwell, 4th and Ohio, in downtown Sedalia.
