See Jack-o’-lanterns on the Great Pumpkin Walk Tonight
With a crisp chill in the air, it all of a sudden feels like fall. And that means Halloween will be here in about three weeks. If you want to get your kids into the Halloween spirit, or get them excited about carving their own jack-o'-lantern, here's something you can do tonight that will do just that. Head out to the Second Annual Great Pumpkin Walk at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg.
You and your family can head out to the home to view "hundreds of carved pumpkins" while enjoying some tasty treats. Admission to the event is free and it's happening tonight, Friday October 11, from 6PM - 8PM CDT.
The Missouri Veterans Home is located at 1300 Veterans Road in Warrensburg, 64093.
According to the State of Missouri, the Missouri Veterans Homes manage a total of 1238 beds that provide long term skilled nursing care in compliance with 157 Federal Department of Veterans Affairs regulations. The Homes are located in Cameron, Cape Girardeau, Mexico, Mount Vernon, St. James, St. Louis, and Warrensburg.
