Sedalia Police Reports For The Evening Of Saturday, October 24^th

On Thursday (October 22^nd), around 2:10pm, officers with the Sedalia Police Department performed a traffic stop on a green Honda passenger car. Detectives with the Drug Enforcement Unit responded to assist with the traffic stop. The traffic stop took place in the 2400 block of West Broadway Boulevard. There were four adults in the vehicle. One subject in the vehicle attempted to flee from the car, while a second subject threw drug contraband from the car.

The four subjects in the vehicle were detained and computer checks revealed that two subjects had active warrants. A search of the subjects and the car revealed methamphetamine, marijuana, drug packaging materials and supplies and drug paraphernalia.

At the conclusion of the investigation, three adults were arrested for various charges and one adult was released without charges. The subjects and their charges are listed here:

1. Jeffrey R. Miller – 51 years old of Sedalia, is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, parole absconder warrant with no bond, and a Pettis Country Warrant for possession of methamphetamine. The combined bond total on all charges is $350,000.00.
2. Anjelica S. Walker- 25 years old of Sedalia, is charged with distribution and possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, and being a parole absconder with no bond. The total bond on all charges is $100,000.00.
3. Garret C. Green – 25 years old of Sedalia, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $1,500.00.

Around 7:15, Friday evening (October 23^rd) , in the 1700 block of South Vermont, Sedalia Police responded to a theft complaint. The victim stated that sometime in the overnight hours, someone had taken electronics from their car. The estimated value of the items taken was placed at $400.00.

On Thursday, October 22^nd, around 5:50pm,  in the 1200 block of South Massachusetts, officers responded to a residence because someone was making repeated 9-1-1 calls for an unknown problem. Upon arrival, the resident told officers that she needed assistance from someone that she was unable to contact. Officers finally located a neighbor who was able to provide assistance. Fire department personal and EMT personal were already on-scene, but the women refused medical treatment.

On Friday (October 23^rd), a victim walked into the lobby of the Sedalia Police Department to report that someone had taken a package of prescription medication out of his cart, while he shopped at Walmart.
