Early Thursday morning, Officers were conducting a vehicle search at Katy Park, 2200 South Grand Avenue. Officers contacted a subject in his vehicle, and observed drug paraphernalia within. Austin David Ray Pinion, 25, Homeless, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Pinion was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.

Wednesday evening, Officers were dispatched to the Bothwell Regional Health Center Emergency Room to pick up statement forms. Officers met with a security guard, Robert W. Blacklock. Blacklock handed over multiple statement forms regarding an issue that is ongoing between the hospital and a civilian. The hospital requested the paperwork be taken to the prosecutor.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 1600 block of West 9th Street for a warrant check Wednesday morning. On arrival, Officers made contact with Kaylea May Nichole Markell, 28, of Sedalia. A computer check through Dispatch confirmed her Failure to Appear warrant out of Pettis County on original charges of Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle. Markell was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, with bond set at $350.50.


 

Officers responded to the 600 block of West 6th Street in reference to a theft from a vehicle Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with Jayce Morton. Morton stated that sometime overnight, his vehicle was entered and an item was stolen. The item was not specified in the report.
