Late Tuesday night, Officers responded to the Police Station lobby for a sexual assault report. Officers made contact with the victims, and a report was completed. A suspect is known at the time of the report. The assault took place in the 400 block of East 7th Street.


 

Officers responded to the Break Time store, 318 West Broadway Boulevard Tuesday evening for a theft report. Arriving on the scene, Officers met with the caller. After obtaining a description, the Officer on scene recognized the suspect. The suspect had been trespassed from all Break Time locations. Officers then went to the suspect's home. Officers made contact with the suspect, who was then placed under arrest. Lori Lynn Hadley, 49, of Sedalia, was arrested for Burglary in the 1st Degree and Stealing. Hadley was then transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was placed on a 24 hour hold.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers responded to the Probation and Parole office at 205 Thompson Road for a warrant check. On arrival, Officers made contact with Audrey N. Williams, 38, of Sedalia. Williams was computer checked through Dispatch and her warrant was confirmed to be active. The warrant was for a parole violation with no bond. Williams was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to ABC Rentals, 416 West Main Street, Tuesday morning in reference to a theft of a 2019 silver in color two wheel 9'X 5' U Haul ramp trailer. The trailer was valued at $8,000. The trailer was stolen between October 4th and October 10th, 2021.


 

Monday evening, an Officer responded to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, in reference to a possible theft. The Officer made contact with Hannah Jones, who stated that she lost her wallet in the store and thought someone had stolen it because she retraced her steps and was unable to locate it. The wallet had not been turned in at the service desk. The Officer was able to view camera footage, and it is undetermined at this time if the wallet was actually stolen. A general information report will be done to document the incident.


 

Monday night, Officers conducted an area check at the Break Time store, 101 Rebar Road. A female was recognized by Officers and a warrant check revealed the subject had a no bond probation and parole warrant. The female attempted to flee from Officers and resisted arrest. She was captured. A search of her possessions revealed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Heather Dawn Borgstadt, 36, Homeless, was transported to the Pettis County Jail on her warrant and placed on a 24 hour hold for felony Resisting Arrest, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
