In the early morning hours of November 4th, Officers responded to the 700 block of East 12th Street for a 911 hang up call. The caller made numerous emergency and non-emergency calls to the Pettis County Joint Communications. The caller made threats to himself and others. The subject was contacted and taken into the care of the Pettis County Ambulance District. No charges are being requested.


 

Officers responded to the 2700 block of South Kentucky Avenue for a report of a domestic disturbance Friday morning. The caller reported being assaulted by a subject known to her, sustaining minor injury. The suspect had fled the area, after taking the victim's purse. The suspect was not located. Charges of Stealing and Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree are being submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor.


 

Monday morning, Officers responded to the lobby of the Police Department for a found property report. On arrival, Officers met with James Corwin, an employee of the Burger King restaurant, 1101 South Limit Avenue. Corwin turned in five debit cards, stating they were left at the business in the last month. Three of the cards were able to be returned to owners, and two were placed into evidence for safekeeping.

Sedalia Police responded to Tigerland Motors, 1303 South Limit Avenue Monday morning for a report of found property. Officers met with an employee, Daniel Craig. Craig stated a bicycle was found near the rear of the property. The bicycle was collected and transported to the Sedalia Police Department. It was placed into evidence as found property.


 

Monday morning, Sedalia Police responded to the Pettis County Health Center, 911 East 16th Street, for a report of someone masturbating in a vehicle in the parking lot. Contact was made with the suspect, and he was arrested. Benjamin Pascual, 23, of Sedalia, was arrested for Sexual Misconduct in the 1st Degree. Pascual was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


 

Officers stopped a vehicle near the intersection of South Quincy Avenue and West 14th Street Sunday afternoon. The driver provided consent to search the vehicle and her person. A baggie of methamphetamine was located on her person. Trista L. Johnson, 39, of Sedalia, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.
