Early Monday morning, a truck was stopped at the Casey's store, 3050 South Limit Avenue, because it had an expired dealer license plate. The driver was found to be intoxicated by drugs. David J. Peak, 37, Homeless, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). Peak was taken to a hospital, then the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked in on a state charge of DWI Drugs and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.


 

Saturday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West 6th Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. When Officers arrived, they spoke with the victim. She stated that sometime on Friday morning, a man who was at her apartment was seen driving away from the scene in her 2012 Chevrolet Cruse. The vehicle was valued at $1,000. The suspect and vehicle were located by Officers on Monday morning. Antonio M. Hurst, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested for Stealing a Motor Vehicle and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police stopped a car in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and Oak Grove Lane for moving violations Sunday night. The driver was found to be intoxicated by a combination of drugs and alcohol. Nikita Andreyevich Antonov, 25, of Kansas City, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. Antonov was found to be in possession of a felony amount of marijuana. Antonov was taken to a hospital and then the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released on state charges of Driving While Intoxicated and felony Possession of Marijuana.


 

Saturday night, Officers performed a traffic stop on a maroon Durango, as the vehicle had an unreadable rear license plate that turned out to be expired. The traffic stop took place near West 11th Street and South Moniteau Avenue. Officers spoke with the driver and an occupant. Their information was then checked with Dispatch. It was then learned that the occupant had an active Warren County warrant for Failure to Appear on felony charges of Property Damage in the 1st Degree and Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree. Cameron R., Fehr, 20, of Sedalia, was arrested for his warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

A car was stopped in the area of West 3rd Street and South Kentucky Avenue Saturday night for failing to signal a turn and driving without headlights or taillights. The driver was found to be intoxicated. Kirsten M. Campbell, 25, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). Campbell was transported to a hospital, and then the Pettis County Jail, pending release to a sober person.


 

Sunday morning, a car was stopped in the area of West 6th Street and South Kentucky Avenue Saturday night for conducting an improper turn, failing to maintain its lane, and no front license plate. The driver was found to be intoxicated. Kelsey A. Taber, 28, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. Taber was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, pending release to a sober person.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and Westwood Road Sunday night. During the traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle was found to have a suspended driver's license. Tasha Robmesha Jamerson, 35, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sunday morning, Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at the American Inn Motel, 1217 South Limit Avenue. During the course of the stop, the passenger was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Pettis County for Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree. Justin Conrad Rhodes, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested without incident. Rhodes was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a cash or surety bond of $1500.


 

Friday morning, Officers responded to TLC Pediatrics, 2925 Clinton Road, to assist Bothwell Employees with a situation involving the health concern of a patient. After speaking to all parties involved, the report was completed for documentation. A hotline call to DFS was completed involving the situation, but there is no criminal investigation at this time.


 

Sunday morning, Officers were dispatched to the Police Department to make contact with Katherine Lynn Aguilar over the phone. Augilar wished to report a firearm was stolen in the general area of the 4100 block of West Broadway Boulevard. Officers gathered the necessary information to generate a report for an investigation.


 

Sedalia Police observed a car travelling at a high rate of speed eastbound on East Broadway Boulevard near South Crockett Avenue Saturday morning. Radar indicated the vehicle was traveling at 61 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. Officers initiated a traffic stop, and the driver was found to be intoxicated by drugs. Trevor W. Townlain, 22, of Sedalia was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs) and Exceeding the Speed Limit. Townlain was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.


 

Saturday night, a Jeep was stopped in the area of South Limit Avenue and West 5th Street for speeding. The Jeep also showed indicators of impaired driving. David Vincent Simon, 61, of Independence, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Simon was transported to the Police Department, then the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked in pending release to a sober person.


 

Sunday evening, Officers met with a victim at her residence in the 800 block of North WT Morris Avenue. She reported a male subject exposed himself to a security camera in the 800 block of North Moniteau Avenue. A copy of the video has been placed into evidence. At this time, a suspect has not been identified.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 3100 block of Brianna Boulevard for a report of a stolen vehicle Sunday morning. Officers gathered information from Arissa R. Huff. A report was generated for an investigation. There are no known suspects at this time.


 

Friday morning, Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at West Broadway Boulevard and South Warren Avenue. Officers made contact with the subjects involved. A computer check with Dispatch revealed one of the derivers, Figueroa S. German, 47, of Sedalia, had no operator's status. German was arrested and transported to the Sedalia Police Department to be fingerprinted and issued a citation.


 

Officers were dispatched to the Police Station to make contact with a mother wanting to report an assault Friday afternoon. She stated she was assaulted by her juvenile son in the 300 block of East Chestnut Street. When Officers met in the parking lot, they spoke with the juvenile. When he appeared to calm down, the mother stated that a juvenile referral should be done so the son's probation officer would be aware of what happened. Then, they went back home.


 

Early Sunday morning, Officers responded to the 2400 block of Plaza Avenue for a report of a stolen vehicle from Rickey Christian. Officers completed a report, the vehicle has bene entered as stolen.


 

Friday night, Officers responded to the 900 block of South Merriam Avenue for a report of a disturbance. When Officers arrived, the two parties involved were spoken to. A report has been completed for documentation.


 

Officers responded to the area of East 15th Street and South Ingram Avenue Friday night for a report of suspicious subjects. When Officers arrived, they discovered a female with two active warrants from Johnson County. Savannah Taylor Stetzenbach, 25, of Olathe Kansas, was arrested for her two Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of Failure to Maintain the Right Half of the Roadway Resulting in an Accident, and Driving While Intoxicated. Stetzenbach was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a cash only bond totaling $650.00.

On the morning of November 9th, Officers responded to the Smith Cotton Junior High, 312 East Broadway Boulevard. Officers made contact with a female subject, who reported a juvenile male stole a scooter that belonged to another juvenile. Contact was made with the suspects and their parents. The scooter was returned. A referral was sent to the Pettis County Juvenile Office. Later that afternoon, Officers investigated a report of threats being made by a male juvenile. A referral was completed and submitted to the Pettis County Juvenile Office.


 

Last Tuesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Ohio Avenue for a report of a burglary. When Officers arrived, they spoke to Sandi K. Lutjen. Lutjen stated that sometime through out the previous day, someone forced entry into the residence and stole over $3000. Photos of the scene had been taken. A suspect was named at the time of the report, but was not located for questioning.


 

Officers were dispatched to a private property hit and run crash that occurred in the Wal Mart parking lot, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, last Tuesday afternoon. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with Michael R. Heuerman. Heuerman stated that about an hour earlier, his parked 2015 Hyundai passenger vehicle was damaged by an unknown vehicle and driver.


 

On the morning of November 2nd, Officers met with Dorothy Wright in the Police Department lobby. Wright informed Officers that sometime during the early morning hours, someone removed a mirror from the driver's side of her vehicle. The damage happened at her residence in the 1400 block of South Ohio Avenue. There are no suspects at this time.


 

Friday morning, Officers responded to the 1000 block of South Missouri Avenue for a property damage report. On arrival, Officers spoke with Douglas J. Sim. Sim stated a rock was thrown through the rear window of his vehicle. The estimate of damage was set at $544.81. At the time of the report, a suspect has not been located.


 

Last Thursday night, Officers responded to the 1900 block of South Lamine Avenue in reference to a property damage call that just occurred. Officers made contact with Tiffany Ditzfeld, who stated that someone known to her had damaged her car and then left the scene. A suspect has been identified, but no contact has been made with them at the time of the call. Charges of Property Damage in the 2nd Degree and Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree are pending review.


 

Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle with expired registration in the area of South Kentucky Avenue and West 32nd Street last Thursday night. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Steven R. Davis, 60, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (Prior Offender). Davis was transporte4d to the Sedalia Police Department, where he provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be above 0.08. Davis was then transported to the Petits County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

On the afternoon of November 10th, Officers took a theft report from Susan Anderson. Anderson stated a package was stolen from the 600 block of East 10th Street. The package was likely stolen on November 3, 2022. There are no suspects at this time.


 

Sedalia Police spoke with a caller in the 100 block of Pacific Street who wished to report damage to a business' fence. There are no suspects at this time.


 

Officers spoke with Harold Martin in the 1300 block of South Lamine Avenue for a report of theft. There is a suspect, who has not been located at the time of the report.


 

Police responded to the 800 block of La Grand Avenue to investigate a report of a disturbance Thursday afternoon. The disturbance involved one subject making comments about wanting to harm themselves. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the three subjects involved. One of the individuals voluntarily went by ambulance to the BRHC for treatment. After speaking to all individuals, Officers were unable to determine a primary physical aggressor. The report is being completed to document the incident with a 12 hour log.


 

Last Thursday afternoon, Officers met with a subject in the lobby of the Police Department in reference to a found wallet. The subject said he found the wallet while walking in the area of Grand Avenue and Cooper Street. Attempts were made to contact the owner of the wallet, but he attempts were unsuccessful. The wallet was placed into evidence for safekeeping.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 4400 block of Wisconsin Boulevard for a report of a hit and run accident last Thursday afternoon. Upon arrival, Officers met with Kirk Gunn. Gunn stated his vehicle had been struck while parked in the lot, causing minor damage to it. The striking vehicle left without providing information. At the time of the report, the suspect has not been identified.


 

Last Thursday morning, Officers responded to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, in reference to a hit and run accident. Upon arrival, Officers met with Margaret Dial. Dial stated she was driving in one of the parking lot aisles when a pickup backed into her driver's side. The striking vehicle then left without providing information. Officers observed minor damage to the rear passenger quarter of her vehicle. At the time of the report, the suspect has not been identified.


 

On the night of November 8th, Officers performed a subject check on a person suspect have having active felony warrants near South Emmett Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard. A check through Dispatch on the subject revealed they had two active wants on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance - one with a $2,000 cash and $2,500 surety bond, and the other a Probation Violation warrant. Mose Kenneth Watson, 46, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked.


 

Last Thursday morning, Officers responded to the 600 block of Magnolia Street for a report of theft. Upon arrival, Officers met with Mike Harding. Harding stated that earlier that morning, his vehicle was entered. Someone stole several items, including firearms, from inside. At the time of the report, the suspect has not been identified.
