On Sunday around 3 a.m., Sedalia Police responded to the 300 block of East 2nd in reference to an abdication. The witness said their friend was abducted by her child's father. The suspect and the victim were located and both denied that she was abducted.


 

On Sunday around 1:30 a.m., Sedalia Police responded to the 800 block of Ruth Ann Drive for a subject who overdosed. Officers were able to administer NARCAN and CPR while keeping him alive. The subject was then treated by PCAD and transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for further treatment.


 

On Sunday evening, Sedalia Police responded to the 1500 block of South Missouri for a theft report. Officers spoke with the reporting party, who she her bicycle was stolen. No suspects were identified at the time of the report.


 

On Friday, Sedalia Police responded to a verbal disturbance in the 1400 block of South Prospect. Arrangements were made to separate the two parties involved. However, due to the intoxication level of one of the parties, officers returned to the residence multiple times for complaints about peace disturbance and property damage. Charges were requested through the prosecutor's office regarding criminal behavior.


 

On Friday at 10:09 a.m., a female entered the SPD to file a report saying she was the victim of a theft.


 

On Sunday at 7:35 a.m., Sedalia Police conducted a vehicle stop at Green Ridge Road and Snyder Avenue. The driver, 36-year-old Thomas S. Sprinkle of Sedalia, was arrested for driving while driving revoked, and released with a City summons.


 

On Sunday at 9:23 a.m., Sedalia Police responded to Hotel Bothwell. 103 East 4th, for a found property call. A black backpack was left outside the building all morning. The backpack was placed into evidence for safekeeping.


 

On Saturday at 2:26 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to the 200 block of Scott Joplin Court for an assault report. An argument began over a parking spot, and one of the parties accused the other of assaulting him. A court summons was issued to 36-year-old Lateesha S. Workcuff of Sedalia for assault.


 

On Saturday at 10:34 p.m., Sedalia Police conducted a vehicle stop at 3rd and Kentucky. Officers made contact with the driver, 60-year-old Reggie Townsend of Sedalia, and a computer check through Joint Communications revealed he was suspended. Townsend was issued a Municipal citation with a court date and released from the scene. A valid driver took and drove the vehicle.


 

On Friday morning, Sedalia Police took a theft report from Ali Bankovich, who said that her gun was stolen.


 

On Saturday morning, Sedalia Police responded to the 2900 block of Keith Allen Drive for a domestic assault. After a verbal argument, a female grabbed a male by the hair and hitting him in the face with a closed fist. The female then picked up a wooden handle about four feet in length and hit the male with it. She then went back into her home and called 911. The female, 53-year-old Teresa A. Estes of the address, was arrested for 2nd-degree domestic assault and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was placed on a 24-hour hold, while charges were being requested.


 

On May 2, a man brought in a wallet that he found in the 300 block of West Broadway. The owner of the wallet was identified, but police were unable to locate him to return it. The wallet and its contents were placed into evidence for safekeeping.

On Saturday at 12:52 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to the 1300 block of Arlington for domestic assault. The victim said her ex-boyfriend assaulted her, then left the area.


 

On Friday, Sedalia Police assisted Pettis County Deputies with an assault that occurred in the city limits. The reporting party said that while he was driving through Sedalia, a vehicle pulled up next to him and threw a water bottle at him. The suspect has been issued a city summons for assault.


 

On Friday, Sedalia Police took a theft report in the 900 block of West 4th. The reporting party said an individual stole items from her residence. No suspects were identified at the time of the report.


 

On Friday at 11:42 a.m., two females entered the lobby of the Sedalia Police Department to report a gun that was stolen. The gun was entered as stolen and a report was completed.


 

On Friday at 12:05 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to the 200 block of Driftwood Drive for a domestic disturbance. A primary physical aggressor could not be determined, so a 12-hour log was created.


 

On Friday at 8:39 p.m., Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 17th and Lafayette and made contact with the driver, who was wanted on a Johnson County warrant, and was also driving while revoked. 28-year-old Alejandro Salazar-Padilla of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked on his warrant and also for driving while revoked.
