Officers were dispatched to a property damage call at the Blue Moon Smoke Shop 1401 South Limit Avenue Monday morning. The investigation continues.


 

Monday morning, Denise Sanders reported to the Sedalia Police Department that a generator was stolen from in front of a residence in the 600 block of West 7th Street.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the lobby of the station to speak with David E. Esser Monday morning. When Officers arrived, they spoke with Esser, who stated that sometime over the previous weekend, someone stole his black Giant model tandem bicycle. The bicycle was valued at $400. There are no suspects at this time.


 

Officers were dispatched to the Wood's Pharmacy, 1400 South Limit Avenue, in regards to someone attempting to procure controlled substances on behalf of another person. At this time, no crime has been committed.


 

On May 19th, the Sedalia Police Department received a report from the Victoria Police Department in Texas for a possible identity theft investigation. The victim, who resides in Texas, claimed bank accounts had been opened using their information without their authorization.
