Sedalia Police took a report of a stolen wallet from the Fortune Palace, 3005 South Limit Avenue, Friday night. The victim indicated the wallet contained credit devices, cash, and other miscellaneous items. During the investigation, a suspect was identified, and additional investigation was completed. The suspect came to the Police Station Sunday night and admitted to stealing the wallet, removing some of the contents, and dumping the rest. Tammy M. Gamblian, 52, of Mexico Missouri, was arrested for Stealing and felony Tampering with Physical Evidence.


 

Monday night, SPD responded to the 1300 block of South Kentucky Avenue for a report of a disturbance involving multiple subjects. Arriving to the scene, Officers spoke with everyone involved and determined it was a domestic issue because all the subjects were related or lived together. Furthermore, based on cell phone video of the altercation, it was determined two subjects had been assaulted, which didn't support a self defense claim. Two subjects were placed under arrest without incident. William Mike Allen Eaton Sr., 48, of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Adam K. Eaton, 20, of Sedalia, was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Weapon and felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Both were transported to the Pettis County Jail for processing, and both were placed on a 24 hour hold.

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of East Broadway Boulevard in reference to a physical domestic disturbance Monday evening. Officers arrived on scene and determined the victim had an apparent minor injury that was sustained during an altercation with another resident. Donald W. Harris II, 44, of Sedalia, was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Harris was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24 hour hold.


 

Monday morning, Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Sneed Avenue in reference to property damage and theft. Upon arrival, Officers met with Stella Oetting, who stated she had left her vehicle parked behind this residence for a few weeks. When she returned, she found the speakers and license plates had been stolen from it. Oetting also discovered the interior and the motor had been vandalized and damaged. At the time of the report, the suspect has not been identified.


 

On the afternoon of March 9th, Detectives with the Crime Resolution Unit were conducting surveillance in the area of South Barrett Avenue and West 16th Street. They observed a wanted subject. A patrol unit attempted to make contact with the subject near the intersection, but he fled on his bicycle. The subject was secured in handcuffs by Detectives a short distance later. James Allen Ray Roberts, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested for his Probation Violation warrant from Saline County on felony charges of Non Support of a Child and a new felony charge of Resisting Arrest. Roberts was placed on a 24 hour hold pending the filing of charges. The PV warrant carried a cash only bond of $15,000.


 

Monday morning, Officers met with Gerald Christian in the lobby of the Police Department in regards to identity theft. Christian stated a personal loan was taken out in his name without his knowledge or consent.
