Sedalia Police Reports For March 2, 2022

Tuesday evening, Officers responded to the 2400 block of West 1st Street Terrace in reference to a domestic disturbance in progress. The investigation revealed the physical disturbance involved three juveniles. A general information report will be done to document the incident.

Sedalia Police conducted a vehicle stop near the intersection of Sunset Drive and West Broadway Boulevard Tuesday night. Tabatha C. Wieberg, 36, of Sedalia, was determined to be intoxicated by drugs. Wieberg was also in possession of methamphetamine. Wieberg was placed under arrest, taken to the hospital, then taken to the jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs) and No Proof of insurance. Noah J. Heston, 22, of Sedalia, the passenger, was arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Heston was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

In the early morning hours of February 24th, Officers made contact with a driver in the area of Highway M and East Broadway Boulevard after it exhibited indicators of criminal activity, impaired driving, and moving violations. Travis J. Harris, 42, of Sedalia, was found to be intoxicated by drugs and in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Harris was placed under arrest, taken to the Police Department, and then the Pettis County Jail. Harris was placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Tuesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the Break Time store, 2801 West Broadway Boulevard for a report of shoplifting. When Officers arrived, they made contact with Alexandra L. Fowler, an employee. Fowler stated that on Monday morning, a man appearing to be in his thirties came into the store and stole a white candy bar. He was wearing a dark colored flannel coat and left the area on foot. Fowler gave Officers a copy of the surveillance video to be placed in evidence. At the time of the report, the suspect had not been identified.

Sedalia Police responded to the 400 block of Buckner Court Tuesday morning in reference to a possible domestic disturbance. After speaking with both subjects involved, Officers were unable to determine a primary physical aggressor. The incident was documented in a 12 hour domestic violence log. It was discovered that one of the subjects had two Failure to Appear warrants out of Sedalia. Chyna Nicole Hughes, 21, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where bond was set at $120 cash only.

Tuesday afternoon, Officers took a report in the lobby of the Police Department in reference to found property. The caller found a cell phone near the 1400 block of South Sneed Avenue. The cell phone was placed into evidence as found property.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Thompson Road for a report of a person with a possible warrant for their arrest Tuesday afternoon. Upon arriving, contact was made with the suspect. A computer query of their information revealed he had a Pettis County warrant for his arrest on felony charges of Stealing and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card Device. Oleg A. Mironov, 27, Homeless, was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail. At the jail, Mironov was given a bond set at $15,000 cash or surety.
