Monday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the Woods Grocery Store, 701 East Broadway Boulevard for a theft report. Officers arrived on scene, spoke with the victim, and gathered pertinent information. The security system video was reviewed from the store. A report was completed.


 

On the morning of March 9th, Officers responded to the 600 block of East 17th Street in reference to an assault. Officers spoke with Shane Roberts, who stated the incident occurred at Korner Lounge, 1604 South Ohio Avenue. Information was gathered the necessary information to generate a report.

Last Thursday morning, Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department regarding a report of fraud. Brandy Naylor reported her debit card was stolen from the 1600 block of Country Club Drive, and had incurred fraudulent charges. A report was submitted.


 

Last Wednesday afternoon, AutoZone, 2601 West Broadway Boulevard, reported a theft. Several items with an overall value of $87.93 were stolen. The suspect was identified, but fled the scene upon Police contact. Charges of Stealing are being requested.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Central Bank Drive-Thru location, 400 West Broadway Boulevard Monday afternoon. Officers investigated a complaint of abandoned property. A piece of wheeled luggage was left between the building and a shrub. Officers arrived on scene, collected the abandoned property, and a report was completed.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Stewart Avenue Monday morning in reference to a theft. Christopher Artis reported a motorcycle had been stolen from the property. Officers gathered information for a report.


 

Early Monday morning, Officers were dispatched to the Casey’s general store, 3050 South Limit Avenue. Tera Baker stated items had been stolen out of a car. Officers gathered information for a report.


 

Monday evening, Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a counterfeit bill. Officer spoke with the complainant, and gathered information for the report.


 

Officers were dispatched to the Tiger Eagle Stop, 3415 East Broadway Boulevard Monday evening. The clerk stated a subject that was banned from the store was trying to buy alcohol. The suspect was not scene when Officers arrived. Officers spoke with the employees, and gathered information for a report. Formal charges are pending.
